β οΈ CAUTIONCorn kernels are safe β the cob is a dangerous obstruction hazard.
Cooked corn kernels are safe for dogs in moderation and appear in many commercial dog foods. However, corn on the cob is extremely dangerous β dogs often swallow large chunks that can cause life-threatening intestinal obstruction. Never give a dog a corn cob.
Symptoms to watch for:

A small handful of kernels. No cob, ever.
