What this means
Ham is very high in salt and fat, making it unsafe for dogs. High sodium intake causes sodium ion poisoning, leading to vomiting, diarrhea, tremors, and in severe cases, death. The high fat content can also cause pancreatitis. Avoid all cured and processed pork products.
