What this means
Raw yeast dough is extremely dangerous for dogs. When ingested, the yeast continues to ferment, producing ethanol and causing alcohol poisoning. The expanding dough can also cause life-threatening gastric dilation and volvulus (bloat). Even a small amount can be an emergency.
