Can my dog eat Raw Dough?
TOXIC โ yeast produces ethanol and causes life-threatening bloat.
Raw yeast dough is extremely dangerous for dogs. When ingested, the yeast continues to ferment, producing ethanol and causing alcohol poisoning. The expanding dough can also cause life-threatening gastric dilation and volvulus (bloat). Even a small amount can be an emergency.
